Dr. Neimi is incredible. Just plain incredible. He talked me through my delivery, delivered my baby safely, and made sure my experience with my first baby was one I’d never forget. It brings tears to my eyes how amazing this was. Thank you Dr. Neimi for everything and I did get to meet all the others too, they are also amazing. Avina women’s care is just top notch!!!!
I would not recommend this practice or seeing Dr. Stroup. I scheduled this appointment hoping to develop a plan for conceiving while managing my PCOS and lack of ovulation. Instead, I left feeling dismissed and discouraged. Rather than discussing evidence-based options or creating a collaborative plan, I was told that I would not receive fertility-related treatment unless I reached a specific weight. I’ve had some good experiences here with Dr.’s and NP’s, but today I encountered some terrible bedside manner from an ultrasound person while I was with my daughter. It completely ruined a positive experience that I typically encounter here and I felt incredibly uncomfortable. I don’t believe I’ll be coming back to this practice because of this experience.
Exam was very thorough and found items that my primary care physician did not.
I started seeing Dr Niemi when I was about 20 weeks pregnant, and he saw me through my c-section at 41 weeks and the following aftercare. He was absolutely amazing. I couldn’t have asked for a better experience with him and the other Avina staff members. He was kind, patient, and informative throughout the whole process. My husband and I always felt listened to (even when asking a million questions) and cared for by him. He’s still my doctor and I’d highly recommend him to anyone.
