Small place with a Mexican cuisine good for family
Must give card # over phone before pickup including tip, and insisted we call and she will bring it out even when I asked to come in and pick it up and pay then ,she said they loose money. I liked to pick drinks and shop other items on shelf in the past . No sauces like they used to . They messed up my order which I only realized after I got to my campsite 2 hours away. I ordered the Mary’s burrito with no cheese and I confirmed I wanted everything else- lettuce, pico salsa whatever comes on it. When I got to my campsite I realized they had just given me vegan chorizo, beans and rice. It was not good. The texture was just mush. They gave me 7$ back, so I only spent $9, however I would not have ordered that burrito for $9.
Decided today was gonna be a change of pace, I've been on a diet since February and after a day of thrifting I decided to finish the day off with a cherry on top. Stopped in for some food, and I was lucky enough to find out that they served pupusas which are my favorite! Decided to order 6 of them and demolished 2 in the restaurant and tried a banana flavored horchata. My sister-in-law and I stopped overnight in Woodstock on our way back home and happened upon this little restaurant. I don’t say this lightly, but this is the best Mexican food we’ve had in years! My in-laws are from California and I’m from Florida and we now live in Rochester, NY where there is absolutely no good Mexican food. We were so happy to finally have delicious tacos prepared the right way. The arroz con frijoles were so good that we were using our fingers to clean out the bowls.
