Now that I see the test has indeed posted, here is the actual reveiw. Was interested in possibility of treatment proton Beam Therapy at this facility but am disappointed that there are so few reviews on this site. From what reviews I could find on different sites has indicated that the essential personal; i.e.,doctors, nurses, radiologists, the persons needed for the operation are exceptional but the non essential people; those people you have contact with prior to the actual treatment are quite less than a pleasant experience including condescending & failure to answer questions. This concern is carried over due to the fact that the reviews pretty much stopped 2 years ago. Was this because they started to receive alot of negative reviews or something else. I currently am experiencing this factor first hand now. The first problem is that their website has a contact form that you fill out with the normal information but it also asks for the best time to contact you. The first time I checked available listed 7AM, submitted, no response. Second time I submitted listed available time of 7:30. answering machine message left at approx 11am and subsequent email message left indicating for me to call to set up a conference. This form and time to fill it out was complete waste of time for everyone. Second problem is that I was attempting to ascertain if my insurances would or could cover this treatment before I set a conference appointment and ended up subsequently wasting 2 hrs driving there, however long waiting there and then the conference and subsequently 2 hrs driving back, wasting my time and theirs if insurance wasn't going to cover it and subsequently being forced to go to a more conventional treatment. Email reply sent Friday asking for this clarification & call to front desk supervisor, who sent me email telling me to call to set an appointment has still gone unanswered 2 hrs later. Will give her the benefit of doubt and wait until tomorrow for a reply.

This is a test to see if this review is published as it appears that reviews for this treatment center for proton beam therapy ceased being published approx 2 years ago. This would cause great concern if the reviews were ceased because of an extraordinary amount of 1 star reviews.

This place is incredible! I can’t believe the care I received here. I was going through the hardest time of my life and thanks to MPTC I faced my journey with peace of mind. I highly recommend Maryland Proton Treatment Center to anyone!

Everyone from the valet parking guys to the techs, nurses and Drs are wonderful. Always friendly and kind. I couldn’t of had a better experience while going through such a difficult time in my life.
