Dr. Kwaan is one of my favorite doctors besides my primary care and is the best surgeon and doctor ever. She sees me every few months even though she only needs to see me probably once a year. It helps me feel reassured to see her every few months. She saw me like every day when I was in the hospital even on the weekends. She will do after hour appointments with me and still does even now.

From the moment I met Dr. Kwaan, I knew I was in good hands. From the pre-op appointment, pre surgerical, during the surgery, and post-op care her attention to details was fantastic. The Dr. who referred me to her assured me that Dr. Kwaan was a meticulous surgeon and he was right. She is straightforward and an extremely experienced surgeon. Amazing surgeon and human. I can’t say enough good things about Dr Kwaan. She did my colon resection which is a major surgery. There were complications and it took almost 8 hours. She must have been exhausted but she kept on. She could have stopped the surgery and I’d have had a colostomy bag. But she persevered and surgery was successful.
