I have seen this provider for many years. She is kind, knowledgeable, and compassionate.
I couldn't recommend her more highly. She is kind, thorough, knowledgeable, and does NOT rush through appontments. Two things I like in particular: 1. She is more knowledgeable than most about psychiatric illnesses and addiction, 2. If she does not know everything she needs to know about a particular illness, she is not afraid to say so and to refer you out. In other words, she doesn't have that "God complex" displayed by so many medical professionals.
I have been seeing Polly for at least ten years. She is unfailingly engaged, sympathetic, and willing to spend time listening to my concerns and general observations. Her examinations are thorough and gentle. She is quite willing to prescribe medication where necessary, but she does not go immediately to the newest "miracle" drug for every problem the way some doctors I have seen do. She also saved my husband's life by spotting a congenital heart condition that no one else had caught in 68 years
