She lets the patient know in subtle ways that she is the doctor and you don't know what you're talking about. She does not listen very well, but imposes her "professional" opinion over your experience. I had been taking the same medication for over 25 years and it was the first time I had seen her about it. She questioned me as if I was asking for street drugs before she would refill my script. I do not have a history of drug dependency of any sort.
