This was my first visit with Dr Harrison. She had a very calm, relaxed and welcoming presence. Before the exam, she took the time to ask me several questions in order to get to know me, understand why I made my appointment and asked if I had any concerns. I felt very comfortable talking with her about my current season in life. I will definitely plan to see her for my exams and highly recommend her.
At 10 weeks pregnant, she misdiagnosed me with a missed miscarriage using only an abdominal ultrasound without any follow up scans to confirm. She said baby stopped growing at 6 weeks, 6 days. She had me take two rounds of medication over two weeks to expedite the miscarriage. I started to question her diagnosis after learning that standard practices were not followed for diagnosing a miscarriage. It was the worst experience ever! She had no clue how to deal with stage 3 prolapse pessary with ring! She shoved it so far in that I was hemorrhaging profusely and was in massive pain!
Dr. Harrison is professional and takes the time to address questions and concerns. Many kudos to her and her nurse.
