I absolutely love Dr Montano and can't say enough great things about her and her staff. When I first started seeing Dr Montano, I had premature twins. She was up to date on all the research I had done about how to best care for premies and address their unique health needs. She always listens, never interrupts, and is patient and kind. I have three children and she has been a solid guiding light for us for five years now.
Amazing doctor! She's really good with my daughters. I wouldn't go anywhere else. I saw a couple reviews saying she charges too much but she has no control over pricing. That is Dignity Health.
Dr. Montano saw my daughter exactly once. She swooped in, did a turbo speed "exam" and left without saying she would not be coming back. This was unfortunate, because she had failed to do a scoliosis check, which is so important at this age! When I called the office back about the oversight, they said Dr. Montano "was sure" she had checked for scoliosis and that my daughter would have to come in for another scheduled appointment (aka more billable hours for something my daughter and I were SURE had not been done). Billing practices are predatory, regardless of whether they are in network. Will be switching providers for our daughter. 400 dollars for a five minute visit to look at a diaper rash is insane.
Overall she is a very professional and knowledgeable person. Thorough, caring, nonjudgmental, tolerant, observant, patient, kind …just a really good dr.
