This place was recommended by my AirBB host. I did pick up, which is done online. The sushi was fresh and packaged nicely. I do wish there were more options. I noticed there are more food options like hibachi. The vibe in the restaurant is upscale but relaxed. The hostess who handed off my food was very polite.

We have gone there twice and both for a special occasion. We get the special chef sushi that we now have a recipe for. Totally worth the try. This year (or maybe every year) their specialty is pumpkin creme brulee, it's amazing and I don't like pumpkins, its very subtle flavor, not sweet and has candied nuts, cranberries and seems like an orange peel in it but our server hasn't mentioned all the ingredients. The place is pricey, but IMO the service and food, ambience matches the pricing.

Phenomenal dining experience here at Maru. One of the BEST sushi places I've visited. EXCEPTIONAL customer service as well. DEFINITELY 10/10 stars. Before I came here, I read the menu. Seeing that the restaurant offered a Vietnamese miss saigon roll, I had to eat here. Glad I did, Soo delicious as well as the crouching tiger roll. For dessert, I ate the dark truffles. SOOO heavenly rich
