My wife's car got towed in a couple of weeks ago because it wouldn't start. They did the initial look over and said that she needed a new battery & new alternator and the total was going to come up to a little under $900 for the work and the parts. My wife called me to let me know & when she called back to give them the go ahead he told her that they found a loose wire on the alternator and it was fine so all she needed was a battery.
