I have suffered with shoulder issues for over 25 years. I started seeing Dr. Coleman in November 2016. We worked through all the options because I didn't want surgery. Finally my rotator cuff tore and we had no other options. I had rotator cuff socket ablation and cuff repair. I had the surgery in January 2019. The results of the ablation were immediate. I am still working through the cuff repair rehab but it is going great without the need for Physical Therapy. Dr. Coleman gets 10 out of 10.
Marty Coleman told me I needed rotater cuff surgery so I let him do the surgery 4 months later I went back and complained I still couldn't lift my arm and was in terrible pain he told to bad I'm not going to help u go see uva docters the only thing this man cares about money he will destroy your schoulder for life then kick u out
Excellent care, clear on instructions. I was well informed at all times of what was happening and what was expected of me. And he has a sense of humor - something I appreciated.
Very professional and friendly. Been to 5 different orthopedic “specialist” and no one could figure out what was going on with my shoulder. Talked to him for 15 min and he knew exactly what was going on. Scheduled surgery 2 months out and was checked up on throughout. I had my surgery last Friday (Dec. 8th) torn rotator cuff and I have most of the mobility back in my arm. Him and he staff at OSC are awesome. Would highly recommend them to everyone.
Dr. Coleman replaced by shoulder after I dislocated it during a fall. It healed and I had a good range of motion. Two years later, I fell and injured the shoulder again. I went back to Dr. Coleman and he had to replace my shoulder with a reverse shoulder. My recovery went well and I am able to do many things I haven't done in years. The recovery from a reverse shoulder replacement is difficult but I have better range of motion than after the first surgery.
He is the most uncompasite docter I've ever seen I have a massive rotater cuff tear with degerative atrophy he supposivly fixed it I fell down I only have one leg and it broke again he refused to help me again and kicked me out I hate him as he has destroyed my life I will never recommend him and will spend rest of my life making sure people know about this guy he is a crook and does not care about people only money he has disabled me and I still have to go to work every day I
Knowledgeable and professional. Gives the facts and optimal outcome expected.
Terrible bedside manner. He injured me during a post-op visit that cost me a new shoulder, plus a lot more. I would run as fast as I could.
I'm very pleased with the surgery and care I received from Dr Coleman. He was upfront on what is expected for recovery and not having to go to therapy if not needed. I will definitely use his services again. The office staff was great, friendly. Thank you Dr Coleman and your staff for all that you did.
