Just say no. I thought long and hard about writing this review, but I finally decided to share my experience in the hope that no one else has to go through what I did. I first came to Dr. Benoit because I desperately needed a hip replacement. Before seeing him, I had already spent five months paralyzed waiting after another orthopedic surgeon lost his license. Dr. Benoit, was recommended by a friend that had a great surgery by him. When I had my hip replacement, I chose him. The surgery was scheduled the day before Thanksgiving in '23. I was released from the hospital too soon. When I went to get the staples removed, I collapsed, had to have neck surgery as a result of the collapsed fall. During hip replacement surgery, Dr. Benoit took it upon himself to adjust the length of my legs without my permission. Because of this, I have not walked independent of a walker in over three years. In spite of MONTHS of P.T., there is No Indication of my ability to walk EVER RETURNING. I give him a Big Thumbs-Down as far as patient communication and sensitivity and urge others to seek another doctor.
Dr Benoit did my husbands hip replacement and he had a fantastic and quick recovery with minimal pain.
