He comes off as friendly but is very rude. A fast talker, poor listener and insensitive to patient needs. I've been diagnosed with Crohn's for 8 months now and caught C-Diff 4 times under his care. Most of my knowledge about Crohn's Disease and nutrition, I've found out on my own by doing my own researches on the internet. I sorry but I wouldn't recommend him to anyone.
On my first visit he was cordial, gave a detailed analysis of the medical condition, and future procedures. Subsequent to the visit, I had an unpleasant experience with his receptionists, so I attempted to tell him and he was very dismissive and a bit irate. Also, he went on to assassinate my character, in front of my teenage daughter, saying I was confrontational and an unhappy person. His display of temperament lacks the decorum of a doctor and I will no longer use his services.
Wish all my Dr.'s were as compassionate and as knowledgeable as he is.
Very thorough and informative. The entire experience was completely professional with Dr. Hoffman exhibiting a very high level of analytical ability. This is my second colonoscopy preformed by Dr. Hoffman and his staff and when I have my next colonoscopy it will be with Dr. Hoffman. Being a retired engineer who is used to dealing with tolerances in the millions of an inch (.000010) I find Dr. Hoffman's attention to detail to be excellent. L.A. Brassard.
