Dr. Martin is a brilliant doctor. He is curious, attentive and so deeply knowledgeable. He is masterful at packaging science in delightful stories that patients can internalize rather than just sharing the results. The healthcare world is a better place with such brilliant doctors. I feel so lucky to have been under his care.
Went to see Dr. M in terrible post surgical neuralgia....Gave me gabapentin, early days of its off label use. My only complaint is that he cited what's probably his best case scenario for getting off the drug after a year. Problem is , i could not get off it, and he had me jump the dose up to a reallly high dose. There are side affects and 20 plus years later I most def feels them. Dr. Marten is a wonderful doctor. He listened to me, he understood, he asked questions no other doctor had bothered to ask. He is compassionate, and thorough in his exams. Some times there is a long wait to see him, but he will give you as much attention as needed for your situation. It takes forever to get into see any neurologist. I count my blessings I was referred to Dr. Marten as I feel I am finally getting the care my condition requires.
Our experience with Dr Martin was very disappointing. Zero bedside manner, never a consultation, only quick appointments....very redundant....and very little communication. How's does this practice warrant anything more than 1 star?
Dr Martin is an excellent doctor! I had a TIA in sept 2019 and needed to see a neurologist after being release from the hospital. I say that I was just lucky to find him and also him having an opening relatively soon after my episode. He takes copious notes and his appointments are as long as he sees necessary. Never rush! He considers all the aspects of your medical history when arriving to a diagnostic. He is also very kind and caring. I feel in best hands with Dr Martin.
like so many other neurologists dr. martin can spell gabapentin and not much more. he left me feeling flat and that I was wasting mt time and money.I cannot recommend him to anyone.
He is a wonderful doctor who listens and takes his time in a correct diagnosis. Outstanding doctor.

My experience with this man was GREAT! he stuck with me through a very long journey to find the seizure medication that was right for me, he always listened to my concerns, took lots of notes on what we thought my triggers were and catered to them. Coming from someone with epilepsy and being pregnant at the time (which only made the seizures worse) it was an emotional rough road for me and he never gave up. Thank you so much for setting me free so i could have a normal life.
