Try dinner – I've only been here for dinner--it's very delicious. Dinner is served Wed-Sat only. It's comfort food--chicken, fish, pasta, mac and cheese, etc. Before the meal, fresh warm bread came with herbed butter. The menu changes seasonally; I had wild mushroom risotto with asparagus, spinach with slices of fresh buffalo mozzarella. It was absolutely amazing--perfect consistency, light (tomato based, not cream based), and the veggies were fresh and crisp. My friend had wild mushroom/ricotta ravioli which were equally as... read more

Awful in every way – Never again will I schlep to Pasadena for this overrated grease fest. The famous French toast is like eating petrified fish sticks with syrup. The omelet almost slid off my plate from the grease. Bacon, room, and coffee were all cold; service was mediocre. Wait staff, saying, TAHDAH! when refilling my beverage doesnt make me forget that its been sitting empty for ten minutes. Martsons, your 15 minutes are up.

Everyone in Pasadena knows that Marston's is not about the food. With a location convenient to city hall it's no surprise that a few important folk will dine there from time to time. Now don't get me wrong, it's not a chain place and the food is somewhat decent, but I contend that most folks don't get out for breakfast or brunch as much as they do other meals, and I would hate to see them waste an opportunity to go to one of the other great places in the area. Marston's has started serving dinner within the last couple of ye... read more

You will find me here every Saturday. The food is great (I haven't had one bad thing ever!) the service is excellent and the people in general are so friendly. The atmosphere inside and out, is charming. I have been a patron for almost 20 years, and goseveral times a week. The best breakfasts in town - you have to try the french toast, it's a Marston's classic!

oh my french toast. this breakfast is worth breaking any diet you are on. the cornflake covered french toast is to die for. any of the breakfast items are great. they have great salads for lunch. the only deal is the parking stinks - if the lot is full you have to park around the corner and hoof in. the wait on the weekend is anywhere from 10-40 minutes.

This is a very well-known and loved restaurant in Pasadena. The food is good, and the restaurant is especially loved for its yummy salads. They are open for breakfast, lunch and dinner, but make sure to check times before going. There is usually a pretty long wait to get in. Be sure to note that the parking is bad. The parking lot holds 5-7 cars, and the rest of the customers park on the street. On a hot day, also be aware that there is no air conditioning except for ceiling fans. But the food is still good and people keep g... read more

Make yourself at home in this cozy breakfast nook where the folks are friendly and the vittles are fresh. – The Scene Set charmingly in an old clapboard house, this restaurant is so homey you'll be tempted to knock before entering. Lace curtains adorn the blue-trimmed windows; Western-inspired drawings hang on the cream walls. Seats at the counter and at a dozen or so small tables fill with white-collar types, college kids and families. Service is sometimes slow, always friendly. The Food Renowned for its breakfast fare, Mar... read more
