I had the blackened shrimp tacos and spuds. Both were very good. Would recommend to anyone!
The grilled shrimp were delicious even though they were on the small side. I'm glad I tried their spuds - yummy. Hubby had fried oysters & shrimp - very tasty. This is a popular place on a Friday night. We got there around 6PM and there was already a 30-40 minute wait for seating. The crowd around the bar was about two people deep. Service was good.
This place was highly recommended to me by a co-worker. We were in Jekyll Island over the weekend for a conference and made it a point to eat there before we left on Sunday. The food was great but extremely overpriced in my opinion- this coming from someone who used to travel for a living and dining out frequently! My husband ordered the surf and turf- asked for medium well steak and got instead an overly well done one. The Marshside Grill was a great experience. We had dinner at sunset( inside because the gnats are bad this time of year outside) and enjoyed the fried shrimp, hushpuppies, cheese grits and salad. Ample servings, good service and great scenery, can't beat it.
Would rate very low on the list to return. We went to the old restaurant before it changed and was always a fav, but not anymore . Food , service and bathrooms were all the same very bad and over priced...... I don’t really know if I would have even given it a two .
Food and staff were amazing. I have never had a bad experience in this place! Love the food.
