My wife asked where to get the best Brunswick stew and was told about the Marshside. We were on our way back from Charleston and stopped in. The stew was really bad. I've eaten and made Brunswick Stew sell my life and this was awful. I would never order it again. It was over seasoned and tasted like it was made from left over barbecue. The service was good, and we loved the view, but I'll never order the stew there again.
Very good food
The hostess ruined the whole experience. The food was okay. We called ahead because we had a party of 10 & were coming from traveling all day from Ohio. She said she would put us on the list...we ended up waiting quite a while which was fine but instead of clearing a table already set up for that number inside the restaurant for us, she sat us outside in the dark, with the bugs. She lied to us & said she had another party of 10. She didn’t.
