Dr Howerton is an amazing and compassion OB/GYN. I 100% recommend her!
Dr. Marsha K. Howerton seemed very uninterested in my birth experience. I had a natural birth and I had hoped my doctor would listen to my needs based on my birth plan. I had seen online that Ascension St. John practices team birth and honors the rights of their patients. Thankfully, my RN, Doula, and husband advocated for my needs regarding my birth plan. I can not say how much I love Dr. Howerton! She listened to my concerns and did everything she could to help. I had surgery with her yesterday, she went above and beyond making sure I got the meds I needed. She is very genuine, compassionate, and thorough. I am so glad I was able to see her.

Been a patient of Dr Howerton since 2019. She is very nice and most everyone in the office is but literally EVERY time I need a refill approved it takes DAYS and they tend to ignore the phone it seems. It takes me multiple phone calls and leaving voicemails to get in touch with anyone. I work in healthcare, I know it's frustrating, and I would understand if it was just busy but this has become a pattern for years. Please do better. - Kris R
