Omg! Im from Melbourne area and no lie we have nothing like this near by me but I will drive the 30 mins just to come back! Best fried chicken I’ve ever had! It was fried golden and fresh! The black eyes tasted like my MeeMaws and omg the corn bread! I’ve never had cornbread that great!! Seriously best southern food on the east coast! Plus Colleen was amazing!!!
It is a GREAT place to eat at!! And a Beautiful ride down Babcock to see the beauty of the land..Had Larry and I had known this small peaceful country town was around we would of looked to buy a home there. It's Historical, all country just like Kissimmee used to be 40 some years ago. Try it you'll like it!

Awesome as usual
we went there for the first time yesterday. the history of the building is very interesting, the wait staff where very pleasant and the food was great. portions where large enough that you felt full when you left. You definitely get your money's worth. They specialize in reptile (alligator) and amphibian (frogs legs) for a not too high a price. We plan on going back there the next time we are in Fellsmere
The blue grass music was fun. Food is good. They have good pie. I didn’t try their cocktails
I normally have an excellent experience but yesterday not so much. The server shook her head twice while walking away from our table and was very rude. The catfish used to be excellent. Now the skin was left on which made it very fishy. Everything else was good therefore I didn't send back the fish. Plus I didn't want anymore attitude from the server. I drive from Melbourne so it was disappointed to have a bad experience. 😞
