Just played this course yesterday. I was very disappointed with the condition of many of the fairways. I'm used to this course being in great shape even in the summertime. Not the case this time.
Nice people, nice condos, but too big of a complex for my tastes.
The staff here is very friendly. Everyone everywhere had a smile and a warm hello. The place is emasculate condition. They take great pride in its appearance from the front gate to the back. The golf course was one of the hardest courses I’ve played in sometime. Very pretty back drops made you lose focus at times. Very challenging course with sadistic greens. One of the Best golf course in the Palm Spring area to play. Marriots Shadow Ridge staff were excellent.
Well maintained course both fairways and greens. Friendly off the tee. Even full tee times allow a 4.5 hour round but rare to be full. Only complaint I had were the slopes on the greens for a tourist golfer - numerous 3 putts will occur due to the slopes and the green speeds. Cost was high - over $100 for round even with Marriott owners discount plus $25 for cart per person and $65 for club rentals gets expensive quickly.
