Went to Newport Rhode Island for family wedding. I booked two rooms. One week before the wedding I canceled both rooms by mistake. I immediately called the hotel directly within 15 minutes. They would not honor the initial rate! I’ve been a Marriott lifetime platinum member for over 20 years. I then called the platinum service number and ask them to help out. They said they couldn’t do anything. The Marriott rewards program is a joke switching to AMEX.
Overpriced mediocrity at best. Tiny rooms, no MClub on the weekends. Location is good but again, not stellar for what they charge. As an Ambassador Elite, I stay at 120+ hotels a year, mostly for business and this one doesn’t even make the top 20.

Extremely Disappointing for Nearly $900 a Night For a hotel charging nearly $900 per night, this experience was honestly unacceptable and nowhere near the level of service or quality we expected. From the beginning, we were left to bus our own luggage without any assistance.
