Notice how the only other "review" here was posted a property locator service; clearly they have not given a real review. I have lived at this apartment for over a year and will soon be leaving. Why? The place is not in good shape and it costs too much for what it is. In addition, the rent-increases are ridiculous and unjustified! Me and my wife moved here site unseen from California and were actually pleasantly surprised when we got there, the property seemed well kept and the apartment was up-to-date. Unfortunately after a few months we realized that it was only a show, most of the work done to the apartment was with the lowest quality materials and things began falling apart almost immediately. This apartment complex in run by incompetent people. When we moved in, the apartment wasn't ready. They were still cleaning it. And when they were done cleaning it, it needed a good deep cleaning, as they did a terrible job. Our list of problems on the move in report was at least 3 pages long. They stated they would be corrected, but only 2 or 3 things were ever done. We went without an oven for 2 days, because the maintenance crew broke it. If you own a pet, they will take you for all you have. Even if you do have a pet they will tack on little silly charges. $4 a month for sending you your rent statement!!!!!!
We looked at many apartment complexes in the San Antonio area before finding this gem. The Marquis has a perfect location and the amenities are awesome! We enjoyed our year and a half stay there and would still be there, had it not been for a military transfer. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful, the grounds are well-kept and the community is nice and quiet. I would highly recommend this apartment community.
