Excellent experience - wonderful apartment building with great staff and residents. I lived at The Marq with my large dog for 3 years and moved out when I left Seattle. I found a wonderful community there with other dog owners, as there's a private dog yard in the back of the building where people take their dogs to play. The staff is great and responsive to all requests. Both Aaron (maintenance) and Christian (office) live on site. Aaron answers maintenance requests quickly, no matter how small they seem. Edit 9/25/26: I've been here 7 years now. Until recently, it was a 5 star experience. I'm lowering my rating to 1 star because of ongoing mechanical noise that remains unresolved. To be clear, Christian at the front desk and Aaron in maintenance are helpful and friendly. This review reflects a problem that needs action from higher building management, not dissatisfaction with either of them. There is a mechanical unit on the roof that vibrates my ceiling and creates pockets of low-frequency bass noise throughout the apart... read more

Lived here for a few years and wanted to give it some time before putting up a review. Decently built units with fantastic yet underutilized community amenities. Aaron was always helpful (and fun to chat with), and the move in and move out processes were quick and simple. The 10% rent raises/year did happen a few times, which rubbed me the wrong way and eventually made the place a bit pricey. Love living here. Close to near by restraunts and grocery stores. 10 minutes from Alki which is a treat and the neighbors are super nice 👌
