Oliver is the GOAT! He's so much fun - great to talk to and hilarious, but also fine with letting me just sit back and basically fall asleep as he does his thing. I don't have much hair, I just get buzzcuts, but this is one of very few salons or barbers I've ever felt totally comfortable at. Super cozy space, not at all intimidating or cooler-than-thou, serves all kinds of people. The Marlowe Grooming team is awesome! I always see Pete and he does a great job. I love that the salon is 2SLGBTQ+-affirming and they have folks from the rainbow community on their team.
Go! You won't regret it! I haven't had my hair professionally cut in over 6 years (pre-COVID), and I've been so anxious about going back. For me, it can be an uncomfortable experience. I have a hard time making small-talk, and I get nervous explaining what I'd like done to my hair and describing my vision.
