I've been going to Marlborough vet clinic for about ten years now. The staff is always friendly and helpful and animals always come first! We have a very wide variety of animals in my house, from dogs and cats to pet rats and reptiles and they are able to treat them all. Some of the work Desena has done with my rats has been absoluately amazing... I've had several rats in to have large mammary tumors removed and he is incredible when it comes to delicate surgery. I have respect and affection for Bob DeSena. He really cares about animals. He is a true scientist, meaning, that he takes his profession seriously, remains curious, and stays current. He's cared for five of my beloved pets, four cats and a dog, two animals with chronic health situations. When through an astounding coincidence, I chose to euthanize two of my cats on the same day, Christmas Eve in 2010, Bob was exactly what the animals, and I, needed. Thanks to Dr. DeSena, Jen and the rest of the crew my Phoebe is on the road to recovery. Just a few weeks ago I didn't think she would make it; now I think she has many more happy years left. I would and have recommend/ed this vet to many.
I am beyond pleased by the wonderful care I received this morning by the ladies at the clinic. I called them upset because my Chinchilla was refused by another animal hospital. They told me they took chins and gave me directions to their office, which was about a half hr away. She also said she would call and let the vet know to be prepared. About three miles away from their office my Chin passed away in my arms. I continued on and when I arrived they took him in and checked for a heart beat, which unfortunately wasn't found... read more
