Was completely informed of my history and went through all of the aspects of my case . Great Doctor and person.
Most importantly, we reviewed each of my meds to ensure I’m using them appropriately. Also discussed several medical conditions that I had, and as he has done in the past he allayed any concerns that I had. Clearly, Dr Sonntag has always taken the time to explain all things medical most explicitly so that I totally comprehended the situation. Thank you Dr Sonntag!
In my many years on this planet I've never encountered anyone that cares for their fellow human beings as much as this man. I asked him to be my primary care physician well before the pandemic. He agreed. From that day forward he never showed a sign of anything other than concern for my wellbeing. Never have I met anyone on this earth that exhibited that level of care for others.
He is a consummate physician. No stone is left unturned. He follows up on every issue.
For the last 2 yrs this physician has taken exceptional care of me. From helping me understand pancreatic cancer, treatments and options. And my labs to my medications. He smart and thorough On his exam review of my chart and his physical assessment. I’ve been a nurse for 33 yrs and He is Top Notch! Thanks Dr. Sontagg for excellent care!!!!
Attentive to the patien it's concerns. Listens to the patient and shares with approach to treatments. He appears to be aware of the latest treatments and alternative treatments. I have always felt comfortable sharing my goals for my treatment. Talks with you not at you. Very compassionate and interested in His patient's comfort and concerns. I highly recommend him as a highly and rare medical professional.

Everytime I see another physician and they learn Dr. Sonntag is my doctor they say He is one of the best. He is respected by other physicians I have been his patient for at least twelve years.
