During the covid pandemic, they allow customers in that aren't wearing masks and many of their employees don't wear their masks properly.
These folks are simply the best. I was trying (with no previous experience) to convert an old dresser into a dollhouse for my three year old daughter and the staff at Ace made so many helpful suggestions that led to a great final product which was well received by my daughter and wife. I made several trips into the store over the course of a month and the staff who interacted with me previously would remember what I was working on, ask how I was progressing, and fully engage with me to drive me towards finalizing the project... read more
This is THE BEST hardware store. I landed here because they’re one of the few vendors for Benjamin Moore in Tucson, so we’ve been a couple of times during this project, and I’m sure we’ll be back. Their staff is endlessly helpful and friendly (!), kind to my crazy three year old, AND there’s free popcorn - another boon with tiny people! We love it!

Worst customer service I've ever experienced. I waited at the key counter while 3 male employees walked back and forth ignoring me. An older gentleman walked up right next to me with a key in his hand and not even have a second later all three employees got up, greeted him, and helped him. All while I continued to stand in front of them. Not being helped. I talked to the manager about it and she wrote a coupon for 20% off.
