I love this store but they have discontinued a couple items I used to buy every week and I am not happy about it!!!! Tofutti Soy Ice cream and the Chinese sausage in the meat department. Please start carrying these items again?
Will never shop at Price Chopper again! Recently had to return 2 pounds of wild caught pink shrimp I purchased in Rome that day. Reeked of ammonia before I cooked it. The "customer service" rep was quite rude and more concerned with getting my advantage card so she could take the points back. A few days ago I had to return already moldy cheese my daughter picked up that day. Now I have to return three 12 oz bags of frozen sea scallops I purchased this afternoon.
I wasn't impressed with the price of the food..but I was impressed with the selection of different kinds of foods that you can't get at any other store..the hot potato soup and corn chowder was out of this world..it was as if it was homemade. And who ever heard of a delicious chicken in a bag!!! Yup a hot freshly baked chicken in a bag. .full of flavor ..it was a different kind of shopping experience that I just might have to enjoy a few times a month ..
I Love this store & their *Organic food section & one of the people who works in the produce section John Destito Always is Super helpful @ helping me find what I need as well as Many others there. I Love the savings on the gas I get & the discounts with my advantage card as well as coupons it is usually & All around Great experience. Oh & I love their floral department. Merry Christmas Price Chopper!
