I just got my first injections from him. I asked him about my lumps in my lower back. He very aggressively said where? SHOW ME! Like i was taking up to much of his time.So I did mind you I was lay flat. He said I don't feel no lumps. Told him you can feel them when I sit up not flat. Continued to say there is no lumps in my back. I told him they are painful and my primary sent me to a general surgeon and he interrupted me said AND WHAT DID HE FIND?NOTHING! I am writing to share a deeply concerning experience with Dr. Patel during the hospice care of my terminally ill friend. Dr. Patel was dismissive, doubted her severe pain, and caused her significant emotional distress. He was also rude to her daughter, interrupting her questions and showing a lack of respect. This behavior is unacceptable, especially in a hospice setting. I urge improvements in his bedside manner, empathy, and communication to ensure better care for future patients.
