Dr. Maffet and his team were excellent in explaining results of MRI and my condition, as well as the plan to alleviate the problem.
The doctor showed great concern about my pains
Knee Surgery 7/26/2019 for 2 torn meniscus'. Follow up visits every few weeks. Told Dr. I was still in pain. He placated me with Cortozone shots 3 times. I asked for another MRI. He kept saying it was too soon. After 3 months in pain I went to another orthopedic knee surgeon. Had an MRI that showed 2 torn meniscus tears and fragment left behind. I need another surgery!

PLEASE READ... Dr. Maffet performed surgery on both of my knees in Feb/March 2016. After several office visits later and having continued pain, I went in about 8 months later. Dr. Maffet's exact words were: "I think you would be a perfect candidate to have your knees scoped"...... WHAT??? I reminded him he just scoped both of my knees within the past year. I was crushed - how can your doctor not know that??? Never once apologized or offered to fix the problem. (he had my chart & saw scars
Dr Maffet performed arthroscopic surgery on my left knee about nine years ago, and it's great to this day. I just recommended him to a family friend, which is why I'm here writing this review. I really liked him, and thought he was a cool customer, putting me at ease for my first ever anesthetic surgery in my life. Highly recommended.
