Had to wait for the scheduled time. No respect for our time. Would not listen when we tried to tell him that he did not have the right lab results. When I called to let them know that I looked up the most current lab result. His nurse when she called back was not very nice and acted like I did not know what I was talking about. Told me that the result was normal but all research says that the result was very low. Would not recommend him.
He is very knowledgeable and helpful. He cares about individualized patient's concerns. I have seen him for years and he is a wonderful doctor.
He is a wonderful doctor and everyone is very friendly. My wait time was twenty minutes to an hour and truthfully, it isn't very long when other places make you wait three months before the initial appointment and then you still have to wait in their lobby and with Dr. Stesin I was able to get in to see him in three weeks. We reviewed blood tests and he went over my history and problems I was having and we worked together to find a solution which was best for me. I recommend him most definitely.
I have been a patient of Dr. Stensin's for over 30 years. Yes he is behind sometimes and yes the office staff tend to be a little rude at time but he overall is a great doctor!! I wouldn't go to any other Doctor!!
Picked at his fingers the whole visit, very poor eye contact, poor bedside manner, very rude staff, had to wait almost 30 minutes past appointment time.
My first experience walking into Dr. Stesin's office should have told me to run right away. The first face you see is rude and makes you feel like less than you are. After getting checked in my whom I assume was a nurse I waited an hour before He came in with an intern and said he will be doing your exam. What?!No one follows up with you I constantly call to get results and they are rude my end diagnoses I don't know what's wrong with you. Gee thanks for wasting my time. Save yourself go elsewhe
It's obvious that he has made money from Medtronic. I have also spoken with other diabetics who have seen him and everyone has felt pressured to get a Medtronic insulin pump(some even had). There is a nurse on staff at the office paid for by Medtronic. Doesn't seem sincere about condition(i.e. downloading meter data).
Business response:
To set the record straight there is no financial incentive for Dr Stesin when he recommends the Insulin Pump. The recommendation is made only when it is appropriate and there is absolutely no benefit to the Dr other than having a patient who can enjoy a better quality of life. Dr Stesin recommends the Medtronic pump because it is far superior to any other product on the market. Unfortunately you read the situation incorrectly. We are sorry that you were unhappy.
Saved my life or at least dramatically improved it and was kind and sympathetic while doing it.
