MY 86YR OLD MOTHER HAD APPT ON OCT. 31, 2023 BECAUSE SHE HAD NEW INSURANCE AND WAS NOT SURE IF THEY WOULD PAY SHE PAID OUT OF POCKET AT THE APPT. THEY TOLD HER THEY WOULD SUBMIT TO INSURANCE AND IF THEY PAID SHE WOULD GET REFUND. THE INSURANCE DID PAY THE FULL AMOUNT BUT HER REFUND WAS FOR $50 LESS THAN WHAT SHE PAID. Dr. Vamun, is very nice and very knowledgeable. I had an appointment on Oct 19th but the office called to change as the Doctor was sick. The rescheduled appointment was scheduled for today Nov.& 2023. I received a call last night that all of a sudden, they could not except my insurance Northernlighthealth duel complete.They new this appointment was coming I had to change once before the doctor was sick which I had no problem with. He is nothing shy of amazing!! He is absolutely the best and great with children too!
I have prisms and Dr. Varnum is the only doctor that can get them right! I have been to three doctors in my city and ended up traveling sixty miles to Bangor to get the correct fit! Oh, how I wish he were back in Waterville! Most of the exam is done with machines and verified later by the doctor. Never had an easier or better fit.......as usual.
