I have a family history of Melanoma and at 68 years old, I feel it is important to stay on top of my skin health screenings. I was fortunate enough to find an available appointment with Dr. Cheiken, my first time seeing him. I felt after the screening and treatment of a few areas, that I had been seen by a very caring and knowledable doctor. Dr. Cheiken anwered my assortment of questions with clear and thorough explanations. I never felt rushed but rather felt so well cared for!! Great doctor.
I saw Dr.Cheiken about 2 months ago. I was prescribed medication for my chronic psoriasis. As I was waiting what seemed to be forever for a response. I received a letter saying I was denied by my insurance company for my medication. The reason being? My physician,Dr. Mark Cheiken, did NOT provide the necessary clinical documentation needed for me to be approved for this medication. I have called the office over 5 times to get help and have had NO ONE do a thing to help me or give me information.
