Exceptional Psychiatrist very caring & compassionate. Listens & doesn't do just medication checks, but does psychotherapy. So no need to pay for psychologist. Also because of that he knows better what medication if any are needed! Great doctor that I have gone to for years.
I had fired 10 psychiatrists and gave up on treatment twice in eight years before a walk-in clinic recommended Dr. Prochaska 15 years ago. He was the first to properly diagnose me and figure out an effective treatment, and I have enjoyed a level of mental and emotional clarity and stability that I had never imagined possible before. Call about an hour before your appointment. I have had no issues with his staff, and I can't imagine anyone else having less than a 4-star experience.
I have been a patient of Dr Prochaska's for several years. Your not in an out. He takes time to listen and help resolve my issues. I almost feel he is a counselor and a psychiatrist in one. I can talk about anything in confidence with him as he provides full attention and advice. He takes most evening appt. Sharon, whom schedules is so helpful and any message is immediately given the Dr. Prochaska as soon as he is available. The wait may be long at times, but he is definitely worth it! H. M. P
