I checked in for my appointment and asked if the doctor was running behind. “Not bad”. I had an 11:00 a.m. appointment and was taken back by the Tech relatively quickly, then proceeded to wait……with several other patients. I asked several times how much longer and no one could tell me. A front desk staff member told me “you have to expect to wait at least 1 1/2 hour for a Specialist”. Well I worked for an Ophthalmologist who never had a patient wait more than 15 minutes. Dr. Dacey is very thorough, kind and explains things very well. He has set my mind at ease after every visit.
I've seen many retina specialists over the yrs. In my experience/opinion, the office atmosphere here is rude, the medical provider arrogant, the staff indifferent to quality of patient care and the administration is behind the times (can't download forms such as new patient nor records release forms). They make it atypically and unnecessarily difficult. It's an old school, high-volume practice.
