you can't trust this dentist! I had been going to Doc Oberferst every 6 mo since 2013. In 2019 I was advised that despite of regular check ups that I suddenly have periodontal issues. I was shocked to hear this because the hygienist had always told me I did an excellent job taking care of my teeth and gums, I had only 1 cavity back in 2013 and never had gum bleeding, swelling or anything else that goes with the problem I was being told I had.
