Mark Oberferst sent me $ 1000 via PayPal to send to a Pastor Sonu Kumar in India. After I transferred the money, Mark Oberferst withdrew the money. Is he a cheater? He does not respond to inquiries and has deleted his email address. What's going on here?

I had been going to Doc Oberferst every 6 mo since 2013. In 2019 I was advised that despite of regular check ups that I suddenly have periodontal issues. I was shocked to hear this because thehygienist had always told me I did an excellent job taking care of my teeth and gums, I had only 1 cavity back in 2013 and never had gum bleeding, swelling or anything else that goes with the problem I was being told I had. Dr. Oberfest gave me a new crown. The crown fell out within a year of being installed. I immediately made an appt to get it fixed. There were cancellations on both sides, but no urgency in rescheduling. When I finally got an appt, it turned out to be with a hygienist for a cleaning. They apparently have no system to distinguish a crown falling out over a routine cleaning. when I saw the dentist, my teeth had shifted due to long delay with the gap (I had braces as an adult so I was unhappy about unnecessary shifting.) Dr Mark Oberferst refused to fabricate a conventional removable denture for me UNLESS I also purchased an expensive and unnecessary implant denture from one of his referral associates. Quite the scoundrel resorting to unethical practices to support his business and staff. Patients are just cash cows to this dental practice.

I would not recommend anyone to this practice. Every time my husband went there was something else wrong and they had him back in the office the following month for another procedure. We recently had a second opinion and most of what was completed by Dr. Oberfest wasn't necessary. One appointment my husband did miss due to work and we were charged with $100 even though a reminder was not received until the day of the appointment. We were there for over 5 years are happier elsewhere.
