To be fair, my experience happened 16 years ago. This doctor had successfully delivered my best friend’s son. I went to him with my own pregnancy for my initial appointment. I was told babys heartbeat was weak, to get plenty of rest, and to stay hydrated. Labs were drawn and to return in a few days. When i returned they said labs confirmed i was having a miscarriage, and to go home. If baby didnt pass in a week, they would do a dnc.
