Great doctor but the office management is terrible. Scheduled a follow up appointment over a year ago. Got a call 2 hours before the appointment to say that Dr Pirwitz is on vacation and there is a mix up in their schedule system. They offered me an appointment 6 months out and it was "take it or leave it". Unbelievable!

Dr.Pirwitz is excellent! He is flexible in his understanding and listens. He then responds with useful non-dogmatic information.
To put it very simply Perwitz is a cardiology rock star!. Been seeing him and his team for over 15 years. This week he replaced my aortic valve via the TVAR procedure. His team from Dr. Kessler, Carol Angrus to a bunch of professional nurses and technicians are professional, smart, caring and fun. Kudos to Lucy, Nick, Dan, Marla, Tracey Reed to a bunch of others I do not recall were awesome!!
I highly recommend Dr. Pirwitz. I've seen him for several years now for regular checkups monitoring my congenital heart defect. He is extremely caring, friendly, and professional. He always takes time to explain things thoroughly and using terms that are proper but that lay person can also understand, rather than a lot of medical jargon. He doesn't try to rush through the appointment, asks if I have any questions, and really takes time to answer any questions I do have.

Been with Dr. Pirwitz for over 5 years and he has always been caring, friendly and very explanatory about my heart conditions. His staff has always been prompt and courteous.

Saw Dr. Pirwitzfor the first time today after switching from Austin Heart. He LISTENS and he explains what he is talking about! His staff is very friendly! I did not feel rushed. My appointment was at 3:30 & got in early. I highly recommend!
