December 6, 2000, I came into then Immanuel Hospital by Ambulance with a severe dislocated ankle from an Automobile accident. Dr. Franco was summoned to ER from his medical office upstairs.after diagnosing my situation, he instructed the staff to prep me for surgery. During my in and out of consciousness, Dr. Franco informed me that I had a Hawkins Three fracture of the Talus (google, how important the talus bone is to your ability to walk). Dr, Franco saved my leg after an extremely bad accident. He also has provided excellent service for other broken bones. I find him easy to talk to and, while he is very professional, he is kind and very personable. I recommend him very highly.
Dr. Mark Franco is the best doctor in Omaha for knees and hips. He has a great bed side manner.
He was consistently late for my appointments and did not apologize. He was straightforward, but also rather arrogant. I found a much better shoulder specialist at Ortho West who was on time and honest but friendly. I had a successful surgery with a quick recovery.
