Rude condescending horrible bedside manner. Made me cry, when I came in for a kidney stone. Said it was probably “woman Troubles” and a “uti” and stormed out. My family took me to another location to be treated properly for-you guessed it-a kidney stone. I will never choose this hospital system bc of him being in it.

This doctor has clearly overstayed his welcome in the health care industry. He is an angry condescending ego maniac with very little patience and absolutely zero people skills. I can only imagine that he is kept on because of a major shortage in younger more capable doctors.

Does not listen or answer questions. If you ask him a question he will say something condescending and make you feel stupid.

I saw Dr Fennema in the ER over 3 months ago. He refused me a Covid test and told me I was only having an asthma flare up. 5 days later I collapsed and almost died. I spent 8 days in the ICU and now over 3 months later I have permanent lung, liver and lymphatic damage. If he had listened and tested me for Covid Like I asked; I could’ve started treatment sooner and not still be dealing with daily health struggles. He needs to retire if he can’t treat patients properly.
