Cannot say enough great things about Dr. Carlson. He has amazing bed-side manner and truly cares for his patients. He is an upfront provider who also takes the time to answer patients questions and concerns. From clinic to delivery, he made me feel valued as a patient and reassured as a first time mom.
I rarely leave negative reviews, but I feel it’s important to share my experience. During my first visit with Dr Mark D Carlson, I felt dismissed and talked down to — even though he repeatedly said he “wasn’t trying to.” His tone and lack of empathy made me feel very uncomfortable and even brought me to tears, and no compassion or support was offered in that moment. THE FREAKING BEST! Dr. Carlson is the most amazing doctor, and if I had the time to type out my entire pregnancy journey and birth experience with him, I would! He’s empathetic, highly intelligent, funny, respectful and honest. When I lost my job while pregnant, he listened to me cry, comforted me and gave me and my hubby some wonderful advice. He’s an incredible surgeon and my c-section scar looks better than all my friends (not sorry). I would trust Dr. Carlson with my life a hundred times over!
Dr. Carlson has been my OBGYN for 15 years and has delivered both my children and taken care of my needs with the best care and compassion. If you’re looking for a Dr. that goes above and beyond for his patients, he’s the one! He’s, personable and one of the most caring Dr’s I’ve ever met. My husband and family all love him too! :)
