Double hernia, and a few month later additional, non related, surgical repair. Outstanding, just outstanding. One procedure at N'Side Surgical Center, and the other at the main N'Side facility - both went smoothly, and the attending docs and staff flawless. Easy to schedule in the office, which is well staffed, and an easy, pleasant experience. Excellent reputation among other docs, outstanding skill set, and surrounds himself with talented people. Very highly recommended.
Mark Wilkiemeyer is an excellent surgeon. I had a huge hernia following surgery for a liver tumor. My body reacted and required an extra day of inpatient care. I came home with very stiff neck and gout- mentioned it at the 1st follow up. Dr Wilkiemeyer treated the neck spasms and the gout was already subsiding. Turns out surgery can cause a gout flare. In 2006 I had a left inguinal hernia repair in Detroit. In 2012 I had a corrective surgery in Cleveland where a doctor determined that the mesh fused with my nerves, leaving me with permanent nerve damage that is quite debilitating. In 2023 I finally decided to get a right inguinal hernia repair done and met with different doctors in the Atlanta area.
