After a terrible experience with another podiatrist, I was fortunate to find my way to Dr. Friedman. I'd been suffering with ingrown toenail pain for years and was also dealing with a ton of fear going in. Dr. Friedman was understanding and patient, and put my mind at ease about the suggested permanent treatment, which involved removing some of the nail and nailbed from each side of both big toes. Had Achilles Tendinopathy in both ankles. Dr. Friedman’s treatment started out conservatively, then progressed as more advanced treatments were necessary. He performed shock wave therapy on both angles and then prescribed physical therapy. It’s taken 5 months, but I’m back on the tennis court and now feeling great. I found Dr. Friedman easy to talk to and felt he listened to all my concerns.
I recently decided I won’t be going back here again for my feet, when I saw that the front desk staff were still not being made to wear masks (altho there is a sliding glass partition that separates them from clients, there is an open door right near them & you when u checkout). Made me so nervous I didn’t ask for a receipt the way I usually do. Just wanted to get out of there. Also dr Friedman never seems to remember me or my issues, and he is too scalpel-happy and offers to operate on even the mildest case of a bunion.
