I had halux rigidus (big toe joint stiffness) but arthritis had fused the toe joint so I had no pain. Dr just wants to do surgery..didn't listen to my reason for coming in. He rushed through every appointment, not listening to me. After the surgery now I have pain. I later had two other consults (for other foot), both said only a fuse of joint will work. I was so hopefully going into this. However after six months of waiting, I was told that this, 3rd, time was the charm. But it wasn't. I even asked him, because they didn't seem right. He told me that they were and even from the 'new lab' Both of these statements were lies. They know that they're not the correct item. Went to Dr Seiden with big toe issues, bone spurs and arthritis in the joint. We elected to do surgery, I talked to him about fusion but he said that he didn’t do fusion the first time. My fault that I didn’t get another opinion but he did surgery a year ago and I was considerably worse after the surgery. I went back several times and was told to live with the pain or have the toe fused. I feel like the surgery he did had little chance of success.
