I find him arrogant and lacking in preparation. His nurse often can’t operate the computer and he once told me that missing a treatment because I had diarrhea was unacceptable. Yet I have to redo my labs four or five Times a year because they lose them, or simply don’t get to them in a timely manner until they spoil.

I am a long time patient and have had nothing but respect for this doctor in the past, but she seems to be losing her bedside manner and isn't current on medical treatments based on information from another doctor at a recent referral I had. I had an office visit recently with her that was the most bizarre appointment. Absolutely horrible patient experience!!!! Waited for months to be seen. First appt cancelled day before by Dr. Dance then had to wait 2 more months to be rescheduled. Called in morning before making over an hour and half drive and leaving an urgent work needs to go. Was told to come, all is good. Then walk in door and was told, I'm sorry we are needing to cancel your procedure again!!!! If I could give less stars I would!!!!!

I started my pregnancy with Dr.Dance and was told my first appointment would be with her Nurse Practitioner Kim Bates, but every appointment after would be with Dr.Dance. As of 26 weeks pregnant I still had not met or even had email or chat correspondence with Dr. Dance, only Kim. I found Kim to be very dismissive and always in a rush. Dr. Polanco alerted us to a serious issue that he felt was imperative to address, why we had to wait two weeks for an appointment to receive this information, I do not understand. That was a red flag for us. The office staff at his Gateway location was the rudest staff I have ever encountered. I would not advise this office.

My experience with Dr. Polanco was very disappointing. We waiting a few weeks for an appointment to get our test results that he ordered, in which, the doctor told us it was imperative we get a major operation. Seems we should have been called much earlier, the results were available in a few days. His office staff was the most uncaring, rudest people I have ever encountered. Stay clear!

Given a new patient appointment 5months away only to have the office manager call to cancel my appointment 2 week before. Never ever saw the doctor......but the time that lapsed waiting to see a doctor sure made my condition worse. I now have limited treatment choices. Some doctors need to be reminded why they became a doctor. Very disappointed in this doctor.

Dr Kriete is the best doctor and has such concern for his patients! He explains all aspects of the importance of kidney function and is very compassionate
