I was a client of Mariposa in 1994 and I remember Alice being so kind as I was so lost and broken. They started my recovery journey and I'll always be grateful for that.

My sister is in here at the moment and I normally get phone calls from her through the week. Haven’t heard from her in awhile, so I decided to give the place a call and when I asked to speak with my sister she’s like no no no call back another time. I asked why and she said they’re on restriction that’s why! I said I’m on her release of information I would like to see how she is doing since I haven’t heard from her and she just hung up on me. My name is Felicia W. an I was sent to Mariposa back in 1996 or 1997 an I was there for almost 6 months an I can remember Maria was in charge of the place but I also remember the other Maria which was a counselor an Alice was a counselor to. Back then we played musical bedrooms an I remember sleeping in the back bedroom an I was so scared of that room because if you had to use the restroom you had to walk out the room an go to the garage an use that restroom 😀.
