Have been with him for over 10 years. Have developed an excellent relationship with communication between us. Has always taken the time to answer all my questions in a format that I a non-medical individual can understand. I find this very comforting.

We have been going to Dr Carbonell for 15 years, since 2004. My husband had a brain aneurysm rupture and has frontal lobe damage and aphasia, so to say he can be difficult to deal with (not his fault) is an understatement. Dr Carbonell has always been patient, understanding, very competent and knowledgeable, willing to think outside the box and a huge source of support for me, the caregiver. As a new patient, Dr. Carbonell and his entire staff have taken the time to care for and meet my needs for a primary care physician. He is a consummate professional and has been extremely thorough in his analyses. Both he and the staff are kind, considerate, and extremely person-centered. They have gone out of their way to ensure my smooth transition and to make sure my recommended referrals have been performed and covered by my insurance. Dr Carbonell has been our Primary Doctor for 12 years and we can't thank him enough because he saved my husband life. I transferred to Dr. Carbonell from one of the huge medical practices in Port Charlotte where I felt rushed. I can't believe how much time he gives me and how he listens to my concerns. The office is beautiful and the staff is friendly and caring. I am telling all my friends to give him a try.
