Dr. M removed all four impacted wisdom teeth late in life. He did a fabulous job. His reception staff isn't exactly pleasant, but he and his assistants are wonderful!
-The staff is unbelievably rude. The one guy who was never rude to me also happened to never seem to know what he was talking about. -I woke up during surgery (Dr. Maring and his staff insist this isn't true - though, for some reason, I can remember it). -This office seems to be paranoid about people scoring recreational pain meds - they cut me off despite five gaping wounds in my mouth after four days. After my dealings with Dr. Maring's office, I feel like a victim. I hope that I never see any of them ever again, and that ... read more
Dr Maring took out my son's wisdom teeth about 4 years ago. All went well and no complaints. He took out one of my wisdom teeth about a year ago, however, & although there were no problems with the extraction, his manner was less than pleasant and follow-through extremely limited. I would therefore not recommend him as there are lots of surgeons who can combine a good, reassuring manner with good results.
I was VERY SCARED about getting my wisdom teeth pulled, as I had a HORRIBLE experience with a dentist when I was younger. Dr. Maring and his staff are VERY NICE and CARING. They explain everything to you, before doing anything to you, so there are NO surprises. Yes--there is pain involved with getting teeth pulled. I had all 4 of my wisdom teeth pulled. I am writing this the day after my procedure, and I am taking pain medicine. Expect to be in pain for atleast 4-7 days. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND Dr. Maring and his Staff. They are ... read more
Good dentist. Got my wisdom teeth removed. No pain, all was good. Need I say more?
Low marks on customer service and follow through. Dental service (implant) went fine but Dr Maring's "chair" side manner is really poor.
Dr. Maring and his staff explained, in detail, my surgery prior to the event. His assistants are very knowledgeable about oral surgery as well. I recommend Dr. Maring, he is very professional yet friendly.
I had Jaw Surgery for a malaclusion. It was an extensive surgery that took 5 hours and ultimately changed the shape of my jaw and my face in general. I was extremely pleased with the result. The surgery wasn't supposed to be cheap, or painless, but him and his staff made everything worth it. I even have 8 titanium plates in my jaw and chin. cool huh?
Dr. Maring extracted my wisdom teeth back in 2000. I was nervous about the procedure, because I have a small jaw and my wisdom teeth were huge, but Dr. Maring took good care of me. His assistant inserted an IV drip into my arm, which quickly knocked me out. The procedure went quickly and smoothly. My jaw was tender for the first 24 hours, but it was almost completely healed in three days. No swelling at all - the dreaded "chipmunk cheeks" never occurred! Several years later, I received a compliment from my dentist here in Ca... read more
