Ate here last weekend and the service was horrible! I saw they were hiring but wow! The food is overpriced for the quality/portion sized received. I was really hoping this would've turned out to be a more positive experience especially since we live right behind here and my kids love Mexican. Oh well.
Horrible experience with average food at best. Think the soup nazi without the good food. Kitchen got the order wrong and expected us to pay for their mistake. Should have listened to the warnings and bad reviews. Will never go back
We walked in and there were only two people working. We ordered quest and after filling up on the queso, I decided I wasn't all that hungry. So I ordered from the kids menu. After putting in our order.. 10 minutes or so later was told I couldn't have what I ordered bc I'm not 12. Who has ever heard of not being able to order off the kids menu? We were left with no chips or drinks for a long time. Once we finally got our food, it was really good. That's probably the only good thing about this place. We won't be back.
They were very hospitable as we took over the whole restaurant. Service was top notch and food was good.
Best cheese enchiladas & home made tamales. For me the sweet onions in the enchiladas make this dish. Service at times has been a bit slow but my last two trips have been much better. The owner does the cooking & he uses fresh ingredients. Glad this restaurant is on our side of town. For years I ate at El Rio Grande but since I retired I do not get back that way very often. Marina's is a good substitute. My new go to Mexican Restaurant.
Don't be fooled be the name. The salsa tasted like it was just poured out of a jar bought from Albertsons. The "queso" is actually Velveeta cheese. The spinach and artichoke dip, you can tell came from a plastic bag. The spanish rice is basically the cheap asian rice with vegetables. I ordered the "steak fajita" taco salad. It was chopped beef (not fajita strips), no grilled bell peppers or grilled onions and topped with black olives. The seasoning used on the steak was not good. This is not my definition of "Mexican food". ... read more
