I saw Yuki today. She was amazing and very attentive. I filled out the questionnaire before my appointment and when I arrived she reviewed it with me. And she did exactly as requested during the session. It was a great experience. I was a bit nervous because I hadn’t had a massage in about 15 years. I will definitely be making this a part of my regular self-care routine.
Honestly, I ended up feeling even more tense instead of relaxed. It was just a lot of superficial rubbing that didn’t feel like proper massage technique at all. At times it was just ticklish and uncomfortable rather than relaxing. The therapist didn’t communicate with me and continued using hot stones even though I repeatedly asked her not to. Love this place! I am pretty particular about massages. Every massage therapist I have experienced here has been really good!! Definitely ask for JJ if you want an amazing massage. He is great with reflexology and alignment. I feel realigned and very relaxed after getting a massage from him. So worth getting hot stones and cupping.
Asked at the very beginning of the massage that I ONLY wanted my shoulders and upper back focused on which the masseuse agreed, to then giving me an entire body massage and gave more focus to my legs then the area I had pain and tension in. I had to ask her to stop on my legs and reiterated to only work on my shoulders and back like I asked.
